Debra "Deb" Guy Goodell grew up in Ossian, NY. She graduated from Dansville Central High School in 1976. From there, she pursued an Associates Degree from Alfred State College. Upon the completion of her degree, Deb began working for Attorney Robert J. Kane and remained with Attorney Kane until his passing in 2002.

When John purchased Attorney Kane's practice in 2002, Deb enthusiastically joined the Putney Law team. She continues to provide her expertise in real estate and estate law through the Dansville Office.

Growing up and living in the Dansville area, Deb has grown strong roots in the Dansville community and is a member of several local groups including: Women of the Moose Chapter 670, Dansville Lioness, Noyes Hospital Auxiliary, Brae Burn Women's Golf Association, Powers Inn Club, and Dansville Presbyterian Church Samaritan Fund.
